Liptini – Lip Liqueur Lip & Cheek Stains – Singapore Sling Review
I had tried the Liptini – Lip Cordial Shimmering Lip & Cheek Tints in Noisette before I purchased this Stain. I liked this Stain much better. I ordered this in Tawny Port and was impressed with the subtle color. Tawny Port adds just a hint of red brown to your lips and you can put on a couple layers to get a louder color. I had also previously used Urban Decay Lip Envy Lip Stain 1 ea in Greedy and was disappointed about how incredibly bright and unnatural this lip stain was.
This Liptini lip stain wears well. It lasts for probably 3-4 hours. I usually put gloss over the stain to give it some shine. My favorite part about this lip stain is that as it wears off it still looks good. The Urban Decay lip stain wears off in patches and the Liptini Shimmering Lip stain balled up on my lips over time.
This is a great lip stain for a subtle natural look. It lasts a long time and wears off in a natural looking way. It is easy to reapply; I didn’t find that I needed to exfoliate my lips before hand which was a must when using both the Urban Decay lip stain and the Shimmering Liptini lip stain.
My only complaint is that it is a bit drying to my lips; that and it smells kind of funny when you put it on. The only lip stain I like better than this one is Cover Girls new CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain – Wild Berry Wink. The Cover Girl lip stain seems to last longer, doesn’t dry out my lips, and has a very pleasant vanilla/cherry smell to it…not to mention it is quite a bit cheaper and easier to get my hands on.
